MeshEnvy NCC ("MeshEnvy," "we," "us") operates meshenvy.org. This policy applies to our website. It does not govern third-party services you reach through links on the site, such as Discord, social networks, or donation processors.

Who we are

MeshEnvy NCC is a Nevada 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 41-2583340). Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@meshenvy.org.

Information we collect

• Website usage. Our hosting provider may log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and request timestamps for security and reliability.
• Donations and optional memberships. If you choose to donate or purchase an optional membership through Zeffy or another processor linked from our site, payment and contact details are collected by that provider under its own privacy policy. We receive records needed for accounting and tax reporting. Using the mesh does not require payment. We do not publish member or donor names or gift amounts unless you explicitly authorize public recognition.
• Email and inquiries. If you contact us by email or through a form, we keep the information you send so we can respond and maintain records related to our nonprofit work.

Mesh coverage map

The Silver Triangle map at /map shows an aggregate RF coverage overlay and route progress. Overlay builds always use exact stake coordinates from the private fleet book so footprints stay accurate. The public GeoJSON does not publish individual node names or coordinates.

On-air repeater adverts

MeshEnvy field repeaters linked to a site answer anonymous requests for location data, send adverts about every twelve hours, and broadcast a local name for the area with coordinates offset by a book-configured distance (today about one to one-and-a-half miles fleet-wide). Set the offset to zero for exact stake coordinates on the air. Advert owner text identifies MeshEnvy NCC and states the configured accuracy. Exact stake coordinates stay in operator records. How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Operate and improve meshenvy.org
• Respond to questions and volunteer or partnership inquiries
• Process memberships and donations and meet legal and accounting obligations
• Protect the site against abuse and unauthorized access

We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and similar technologies

meshenvy.org may use cookies or local storage needed for basic site functionality. Embedded third-party services, such as membership checkout forms, may set their own cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Sharing with service providers

We share information with vendors that help us run the organization, including website hosting, membership and donation processing, and email. They may use data only to provide services to MeshEnvy NCC.

Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, tax, and nonprofit record-keeping requirements.

Children

meshenvy.org is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
